Pivot in the Change

The process of restoring my Health has been and is quite the journey.  Just when I thought I was aware of what goes on with my body, it's revealed that I'm not as aware that I would believe.


The Body is a remarkable instrument compiled with many other instruments that it needs to function.  If one of those instruments begin to fault, over time there could be a major problem.  

I've recently began to be more adamant with exercising in efforts to keep my body flexible and maintain endurance.  It's not as easy as one would believe it to be at the age of 51, but it is possible to regain and restore your health at this age.  I'm proof of it. 

Counting calories is not a great concern to me, being mindful of portion is.  Overeating is one of the easiest things to do.  For the majority, as a society we were taught to eat everything on your plate, well, how much is on the plate?  We are often encouraged to eat 2nds, well, how much of 2nds are you eating, and what is the 2nd portion of food you're eating?


Poor eating habits and lack of exercise is a combination I would encourage all to stay away from.  No, you're not going to be perfect, or, not be prone to mistakes but don't use that for an excuse to disregard your health. No need to wonder how I know. #thatsurthurty
