Boiled Down Veggies.....thatsurthurty

I'm thankful that I've established a habit of prepping and eating vegetables. It's so much better for my health and has helped aid my weight loss. This mix of vegetables is; Zuchinni, Red Cabbage, Green Cabbage, Yellow Squash and Yellow Onion. Very good. I also used drippings from some chicken wings I fried the day before adding more flavor and seasoning. I simply cut all the vegetables up, seasoned them, then allowed them to boil down until tender. I prepared enough to last me a full week, this helps me to avoid snacking and eating things that are not beneficial for me. I can simply reach in the fridge, grab a bowl of veggies and heat them in the microwave. Just that easy.

Korean Vegetable Dumplings w/Homemade Fried Vegetables....#thatsurthurty

There are times when I desire, not crave different cultures of foods. I say 'desire' because to 'crave' something means there is a weakness present and I'm not weak for food. I have discipline in what I eat so I eat what I want in moderation with the discipline of not overeating.

Korean food is one of my absolute favorites so as often as I can, I head to my favorite Korean store and load up. Pictured here is Korean Vegetable Dumplings. I dressed it with mushroom soy sauce and hot sauce. It's often referred to as Mandu. There are different variations and types of Mandu so I call my variation for what it is. Vegetable Dumpling.

Bag Day. Getting Rid of the Turkey Arms

I do plenty of cardio and am losing weight at a nice moderate rate. I'm also being mindful of the rest of my body in regards to toning which is also commanding of time and discipline as well. The area I'm working on today is my arms. African American women are known for our 'Auntie/Big Mama' arms when we begin to reach mature age status😄. Auntie Arms is the fatty and dark elbows that signify a woman of mature age that has raised babies, grand babies, nieces, nephews, and helped in raising other peoples children. She has put in time cooking, cleaning, sewing, neutering, and a host of other things. A woman of many hats. Well...I've done and am doing those things, but I prefer to do them without the Auntie/Big Mama Arms of which I call turkey arms. The sagging of the arms resemble a turkey's neck to me😄 and I'm not having it, so bag day it is today.
